Improving Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) standards in Myanmar’s agricultural sector is crucial for protecting farmworkers and ensuring sustainable productivity. With high exposure to physical hazards, such as machinery, pesticides, and extreme weather, improving safety protocols can reduce the risk of accidents, injuries, and long-term health issues. By investing in modern agricultural equipment, training, and better working conditions, farmers can enhance workforce morale and productivity while fostering a safer working environment.
OSH investments in the agriculture sector of Myanmar, have the potential to stop the domestic and migration of agricultural workers and improve the farm land productivity, which is crucial for the food safety of the nation and pave the way for profitable agricultural exports.

RBF+ is inviting Agricultural MSMEs interested in investing in Occupational Safety & Health (OSH) improvements to benefit from RBF+ grant support up to MMK 200 million per project.
