Responsible Business Fund Plus (RBF+) is a Matching Grant Fund (2024 to 2028) under the EU-supported Sustainable Livelihoods and Inclusive Growth (SLING) Action with co-funding from the Embassies of Denmark and Switzerland in Myanmar, implemented by the Inclusive Systems Myanmar and Helvetas Germany.
The objective of RBF+ is to promote inclusive growth of Agrifood Micro Small and Medium Sized Enterprises (MSMEs) in local agricultural value chains, to enhance their economic resilience and environmental sustainability. To achieve this objective, RBF+ is targeting three key outcomes:
Capacity improvement of Companies and Equipment Suppliers, to offer modern Agricultural Inputs, Services and new Technologies.
Strengthening the capacities of MSMEs providing Agri Inputs to farmers and Agrifood MSMEs processing agricultural output.
Improved Market Access (Domestic and Export) for Agrifood MSMEs and Farmers through Business Associations and Large Local Retailers / International Importers.
MSMEs within the various Agricultural Value Chains that can benefit the farmers with productivity improvements, cost reduction or access to markets.
Companies, Equipment/Technology Suppliers, Business Associations, and Large Local Retailers / International Importers, that have a commercial interest in serving the economic and environmental sustainability goals of Farmers and Agrifood MSMEs.
Matching Grants up to a maximum of 50% of the relevant project costs, with a maximum of MMK 400 million per project under Outcome 1 (Area 1 and Area 2); MMK 200 million per project under Outcome 2 (Area 3 to Area 7); MMK 200 million for Outcome 3 (Area 8); and MMK 50 million for Outcome 3 (Area 9).
